When trying to start the Change Auditor Coordinator, usually after a fresh install, it fails. The Change Auditor Coordinator log displays the error message "The computer is not in a site" or "Unable to locate server object"
The server subnet isn't properly registered in AD Sites and Services. In 7.5, this is a strict requirement.
The following commands can be run from the coordinator host from an elevated cmd prompt to confirm this:
nltest /dsgetsite
The above command should let you know if this server (coordinator) is in the site.
nltest /dclist:
The above command should provide the complete list of DCs and the site names.
You can also check the following registry key:
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Netlogon\Parameters
Ideally there should be DynamicSiteValue already with the appropriate Site information value. You should fix this value if it is incorrect or empty, as it should be automatically populated by a proper AD Sites and Services configuration.
